About
Alyssa Reamsbottom is currently a BFA candidate at Bowling Green State University in Studio Arts. Her focus is in Printmaking and she is currently researching the mezzotint process. Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio Reamsbottom has always been surrounded by the arts and was drawn to it from a young age. Her current body of work stems from her journey towards self-acceptance by utilizing past experiences to propel her imagery. Reamsbottom strives to evoke emotion from the viewer by incorporating imagery of her own hands as well as making use of deep black of the mezzotint to activate the negative space in her intricate designs.
Reamsbottom is an active member of BGSU Print Society, a student run club on campus. Alyssa was also able to participate in the Undergraduate Exhibition at the beginning of 2025 and will also be participating in another Exhibition In the Making later this semester.
